Orgasms Unraveled

Thanks for shedding further light on Tantra in your October issue. As Tantra teachers and relationship coaches we welcome the clarification in your article of what Tantra is: namely a way for evolving ourselves as individuals as well as in relationship. Expanding on the article, we would like to add that the couples on Showtime’s reality show “Sexual Healing” were instructed and guided in the tantric practices by us, Dr. Elsbeth Meuth and Mr. Freddy Weaver. Dr. Laura Berman, as the host of the show, invited us last February to work with her to enhance her approach to sex therapy by giving couples the opportunity to learn from our tantric coaching how to build deeper connection and intimacy. It’s been a wonderful collaboration!

The Creeping Exurban Threat

Just a quick follow up regarding Patrick Salem’s article (Oct. 2006). On Wednesday, October 18th, the Woodstock Independent reported that Jeff Brown, the Cary, IL-based developer of the proposed “Reserve of Woodstock” filed a lawsuit against the city of Woodstock in response to the City Council rejecting his plans to build 20 luxury homes. Hopefully the City Council will stand its ground (no pun intended). These developers often win in court despite what the community wants.

You Can Help Change the World!

Yesterday, I picked up a copy of Conscious Choice randomly for the first time, hit the beach to enjoy the last days of sun, and dove into the November issue. I had never heard of this magazine before, so I decided to see what it was all about, beginning with the “From the Editor” column. At that moment, I was caught way off guard, and questioned why I was unaware of such an amazing magazine! Instantly hooked I was. So, I went on reading, then came across the “West of Vanuatu, East of Eden & South of the Loop” article (Body & Mind Health column), and almost felt like I was reading something I had written myself. I even got up from the Oak St. Beach and walked over to the MCA to see the Massive Change exhibit after I came across that article. You navigated my day in such delight. I felt like I could help change the world!

If nothing else, I wrote this letter to the editor to enlighten you with how touching your magazine was to this individual.
