Dr. Sukel is one of the early pioneers in Biocompatible Dentistry. His background includes development and publishing the very first procedures for protecting the Doctor, Patient, & Staff during mercury amalgam removal. That is now used worldwide. He is past president of the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT). He is currently co-chair chairman of the (IAOMT) of the clinical practice guidelines and co-chair of the IAOMT Scientific Review Committee. For these reasons he has been one of the leaders in all aspects of Biocompatible Dentistry.
