I believe that “holistic involves an awareness of dental care as it relates to the entire person. When a person has a systemic “body” illness, some of the symptoms can be expressed in the mouth before they are discovered anywhere else. Just as the body affects the mouth, the mouth affects the body. Because of this, I treat the mouth, body and person as a whole and consider the deeper underlying cause of their symptoms. Resulting in integrative healing that starts at the mouth but includes the whole person.
